Objective of Parent Organization

To enrich the personal life of the workers and their families by providing opportunities of adult & technical education. To improve the occupational skills and technical knowledge of the workers for raising his efficiency and increasing productive ability. To organize programmes of vocational and technical training with a view to facilitating horizontal/vertical mobility and employability. To work for National Integration, International peace and understanding to take up programme/project for the helpless distressed, down-trodden and socio-economically backward classes. To take up projects for the welfare and rehabilitation of old people including opening up of Old-age Home, Day Care Centre etc. To take up programmes/projects for the upliftment of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and people living below poverty line. To take up vocational training programmes and to establish Women's Hostel, Nari Samities, Ladies Club and Recreational Centre.

Function of Parent Organization

1) Sikhya-O-Sikhya (SOS), the parent body of Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Bhubaneswar has been functioning in the state of Odisha since 1994 in the field of Skill Up-gradation Training, Vocational Training, Family Welfare, Family Planning and AIDs Prevention Activities. 2) Organize the community and build the capacity to be Self-Employed & Self-Depend. 3) Trained the deprived groups to get the advantage of the Govt. Welfare Schemes. 4) Working for the SHGs promotion and Women Empowerment.
